Big problems for Alex Bowman. He’s the 13th car on the track but he’s up in smoke. A driveshaft sits on the race track. It snapped as he crossed the start/finish line.
NASCAR has elected to take time to clean up the race track. A decision appreciated by the rest of the cars who are set to qualify.
They aren’t just cleaning up the mess from Bowman. NASCAR is also blowing off the sand in lane three of the corners which was left over from Xfinity practice.
