NASCAR driver Josh Reaume is suspended indefinitely
Over the weekend, NASCAR landed at Phoenix Raceway. The Arizona short track hosted the championship finale for the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Truck Series.

Josh Reaume has been suspended indefinitely by NASCAR. The penalty cites sections 12.1 and 12.8.1.e of the NASCAR rule book.
12.8.1.e: “public statements and/or communication that criticizes, ridicules another person based upon that person’s race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age or handicapping condition.”
Per the NASCAR report, Reaume is suspended for social media comments.
The Reaume Brothers Racing fielded at least two entries in every NASCAR Truck Series event for 2020. Additionally, Josh Reaume made two NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020.
12.8.1.e is the same section that was violated by both Kyle Larson and Mike Wallace earlier in the year.
