NASCAR truck race results from Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Tonight, the race weekend begins with the NASCAR Truck Series. The field is set for the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 on the 1.5-mile of Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Stage 1 – Report

Las Vegas Motor Speedway - NASCAR Truck Series

Laps: 30 (1-30 / 134)

Green flag, Nemechek wins the race into turn one. Busch and Ben Rhodes rub doors for 2nd.

Lap 3, Busch has a run. He dives to the inside and takes over the lead. Zane Smith follows him through.

Smith has a run into turn one. He clears him and shuts the door off turn two. Busch loses the nose and he’s forced to lift off turn two, Busch falls to 4th.

Lap 21

Lap 21, caution as Blaine Perkins spins the tires.

Smith and most of the leader head for the pit lane. Chandler Smith, Jack Wood, Ben Rhodes and Colby Howard stay out with others.

Pit Penalty: Todd Bodine and Stewart Friesen will go to the tail after speeding on the pit lane.

Green, Smith and Rhodes run side by side into turn one. Colby Howard gets turned by Zane Smith behind them, caution.

Ben Rhodes wins stage one as they finish under yellow at LVMS!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 30 (31-60 / 134)

Rhodes and others head for the pit lane. Tanner Gray and Carson Hocevar takes over the front row.

Green flag on stage two, Hocevar leads into turn one. Kyle Busch looks to the outside and tries to make it three wide for the lead but he can’t get there.

Lap 44, Kyle Busch works inside of Hocevar into turn one. Busch is clear by inches off turn two and he shuts the door. Hocevar div es back to the inside into turn three, Hocevar retakes the lead.

Lap 48, Kyle Busch to the lead as Nemechek follows him through.

8 to go in stage two, Moffitt has a flat and he heads for the pit lane.

6 to go in stage two, Todd Bodine spins off four and backs it into the fence, caution.

Most of the leaders head for the pit lane. Tanner Gray, Ben Rhodes and four others stay out.

Green for a 1 lap shootout, Majeski pushes Rhodes clear into turn one. Kyle Busch is flying through the field but he’s out of time.

Ben Rhodes wins stage two at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

Rhodes and the others head for the pits. Kyle Busch cycles back to the lead.

Green flag on stage three, Kyle Busch leads Nemechek into turn one.

Lap 71, Nemechek works inside of Busch for the lead. A lap later, Nemechek wins that battle.

Lap 73, Jack Wood spins and the caution is out.

Lap 90, Todd Bodine is around off turn four for the second time. He picks up heavier damage and the caution is back out.

Green, Chandler Smith and Nemechek run side by side for the lead. Christian Eckes pushes Smith out front into turn three.

38 to go

38 to go, Nemechek loses the nose and he loses four spots. Hocevar gets loose off turn four and spins off turn four, caution.

32 to go, Rhodes loses the nose and pushes off turn four. Majeski gets into the left rear of Rhodes and turns him into the outside wall! Rhodes is done for the night and the caution is out.

20 to go, Chandler Smith leads Kyle Busch by a truck length.

16 to go, Kris Wright spins off turn two, caution.

Green, Eckes gets shoved to the lead by Ryan Preece. Kyle Busch runs three wide behind them, Busch retakes 2nd.

9 to go, Busch looks inside of Eckes into turn one! They fight for space off turn two! Eckes throws a block and gets turned down the back stretch. Eckes slams the inside wall, caution.

Penalty: Ryan Preece didn’t maintain caution speed and he’ll drop from 2nd to 5th before the restart!

Green, Zane Smith, Kyle Busch and Chandler Smith run three wide for the lead into turn one! Zane Smith to the lead off turn two!

2 to go, Chandler Smith works outside of Zane Smith into turn three. They remain side by side as they take the white flag.

Zane Smith clears him off turn two, Chandler Smith crosses under him and he retakes the lead into turn three!

Chandler Smith wins at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!
