Plymouth Speedway results from June 29, 2017 featuring the DIRTcar Summer Nationals
Tonight the DIRTcar UMP Hell Tour landed in Indiana. Plymouth Speedway, a 3/8 mile dirt track located in Plymouth, IN.

They beat the rain! Barely.
Brandon Sheppard goes to the top. Scott Bloomquist to the bottom. Running the highside, Sheppard makes easy work of the lappers.
With 10 laps to go, Bloomquist found himself trapped behind a lapper on the bottom. He tried to move around him running the middle, slipped on exit. The next lap he found a hole on the bottom, 3 wide moving through lappers. He through!
But this point, Shappard has cleared the 2nd place runner by ten car lengths or more with just a handful of laps to go. Bloomquist sets a charge to make up lost ground.
3 to go, Bloomquist has caught the leader. They swap lanes, Sheppard low, he takes Bloomquist’s line away. Now, the lapped traffic is blocking Sheppard on the bottom.
Final lap, Bloomquist see’s an opportunity to grab the win. He drives to the outside, boxes Sheppard in behind a lapped car. With Bloomquist to his outside, Sheppard pushes the lap car across the finish line, he beat Bloomquist to the line by just a few feet.
Brandon Sheppard drove to victory lane. Sheppard becomes the 7th different winner on the 2017 DIRTcar Summer Nationals schedule.
