Brad Keselowski won at Talladega Superspeedway in his 300th NASCAR start with a Dale Jr tribute paint scheme
Today, it was the 300th NASCAR start for Brad Keselowski. He won. Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne, Rusty Wallace and Ned Jarrett all won on their 300th career start as well.
“I didn’t think I’d make it 300,” Brad Keselowski states after the race.
Brad Keselowski had radio issues as he drove to the win at Talladega. If any place, restrictor plate tracks are the most important places to have a working radio. Especially today where drivers needed to drive their way through pile ups.

“Well, somethin’ broke on the car,” Brad Keselowski tells Dale Jarrett after Talladega.
“Basically, I was gettin’ ‘clear high. clear …’ I wasn’t getting all the words.”
“I don’t what broke in the communications and radio system. But, we came in with I think about 30 to go to try and fix it. I know it was going to be so pivotal to finishing the race. And making the precise move that I wanted to make at the end.”
“I didn’t want to pit to be honest with you. I was afraid if we pitted we’d get too far back and get wrecked. You know, with the Lord above we made it through the wrecks.”
That’s was fortunate. But, it is critical to have a spotter to communicate with,” Keselowski concludes.
Brad Keselowski won with a Dale Earnhardt Jr tribute paint scheme today at Talladega. Dale Jr is in his final season of full-time NASCAR racing. It was Jr’s final start at Talladega.
