The equipment was stolen from a Cracker Barrel parking lot
A truck, trailer and NASCAR race car have been stolen from Mike Harmon Racing.
MHR is a NASCAR Xfinity Series operation. The team competed at the Daytona Road Course on Saturday afternoon in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The equipment was stolen from a Cracker Barrel parking lot in Kingsland, Georgia.
Mike Harmon Racing parked in the Cracker Barrel parking lot around midnight while returning to North Carolina from the race at Daytona. They then stayed at the nearby Super 8 Motel.
A 2000 silver Ford F350 pickup truck pulled the enclosed trailer. Inside, sat the No. 47 machine driven by Kyle Weatherman.
The paint scheme features #StandForTheFlag on the side. The hood says “We stand for the National Anthem.”
Mike Harmon Racing is the team that also runs “We Back the Blue” paint schemes.
The value of the items in the trailer total $400,000 according to the police report. That totals the car, tools and pit boxes.
The police report stated that surveillance video of the Cracker Barrel shows the truck, trailer and car leaving the parking lot at 5:55am Sunday morning.
Now, Mike Harmon Racing have offered a $5,000 reward.
The truck was last seen getting on I-95 South, heading back toward Florida.
