Bubba Wallace climbed from the car and walked up the track to show frustration with LaJoie
On Sunday, NASCAR took the green in Phoenix, Arizona. The 1-mile track of Phoenix Raceway is hosting the championship finale for the NASCAR Cup Series.

On lap 7, Corey LaJoie looked to the inside of Bubba Wallace. The drivers battled for the 21st position.
At the same time, Ricky Stenhouse Jr was under LaJoie. They ran three wide into turn three.
LaJoie got loose under Wallace. As he chased his car up the banking, he clipped Wallace in the left rear.
The No. 23 car was spun around backwards. He backed it hard into the outside wall. The car picked up heavy damage.
Wallace attempted to back it down the race track. However, he got stuck between the apron and the banking. The team needed a tow truck to pull the car back to the garage. Wallace is out of the race.
LaJoie and Wallace are friends off the track. But, they aren’t friends today in Phoenix.
Frustrated, Wallace climbed from his car. With his helmet on, he began walking up the banking. As LaJoie’s car approached, he gave the No. 7 car several sarcastic claps.
On the very next restart, Ricky Stenhouse Jr cut across the nose of LaJoie, unaware they were three wide. LaJoie spun and he slammed the same wall.
The race is ongoing.
Wallace was taken to the infield car center. After exiting, he sent out the following tweet:
