NASCAR entries for the first race at the 1/4-mile LA Coliseum; Busch Clash event format and schedule
NASCAR is set to move in a totally new direction on February 6th, 2022. A new car will make it’s debut at a new race track. The Clash at the Coliseum is an exhibition event hosted on a 1/4-mile bullring oval.

The track sits inside the LA Coliseum in Los Angeles, Californa. The temporary oval was constructed in just a few short months at the approximate cost of $1 million.
36 drivers set on the Busch Clash entry list while the cap was 40. Only 23 of those drivers will start the 150-lap main event.
Busch Clash 2022 Format
Practice (2 Hours)
Qualifying (Single car runs)
4 Heat Races (25 laps, max 10 cars per heat, Top 4 finishers advance into main event)
2 LCQ Races (10 cars per race, top 3 in each LCQ advance into the main event)
Provisional The final spot on the grid will be awarded to the highest finisher in 2021 points who did not already advance into the show
