Here’s the JR Motorsports schedule for the NASCAR Cup Series stars
Hendrick Motorsports stars Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson and William Byron are set to share a 5 race deal to enter the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The car will be fielded by Hendrick Motorsports.
Elliott ran in the series as recently as last year. Larson hasn’t run a NASCAR Xfinity Series event since 2018. Byron’s last Xfinity start came in 2017.
Rick Hendrick is a co-owner of JR Motorsports.
The car will make an appearance at Texas Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen International as well as both races at Darlington Raceway. William Byron and Kyle Larson each have two races scheduled while Elliott has just one.
“The NASCAR platform has been instrumental in helping us build HendrickCars.com into a national brand, and we look forward to continuing that momentum through this expanded effort,” said Greg Gach, president of Charlotte-based Hendrick Automotive Group.
“We are committed to our racing programs and supporting our Hendrick Motorsports teammates whenever we can, and we know these additional races will benefit our drivers and teams. We’re also excited to work with Dale Jr. on this opportunity.”
Gach added, “He’s a terrific partner whose dealerships have created tremendous value for our General Motors customers. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
