Kyle Larson, Brad Sweet form new Dirt Sprint Car Series

High Limit Sprint Car Series has a race scheduled for 2022

Kyle Larson and Brad Sweet have teamed up once again for a new business venture. The two dirt racing superstars have formed a new dirt sprint car series that will make it’s debut in 2023.

The High Limit Sprint Car Series will be a mini-series that runs mid-week races. The schedule hasn’t been released but the series is expected to run 12 races.

Two of the 12 races will pay $50,000-to-win with a $140,000 total purse. The other 10 races will all pay $23,000-to-win with an $80,000 purse.

The points fund is set at $120,000.

Despite a full rollout of the series in 2023, the series has a single one-off race scheduled for 2022. Lincoln Park Speedway will host the debut of the new series at the Putnamville, IN track on August 16th, 2022. The High Limit Open will offer a $70,000 total event purse with $22,022-to-win.

Kyle Larson comments on his new racing series

“Our mission is to help sprint car racing become bigger and better,” said Larson.

Larson added, “The High Limit Sprint Car Series will not only create more opportunities for sprint car drivers to race mid-week shows for big money, but also give dirt track fans more great racing to attend. They can watch live or on-demand too, thanks to FloRacing. I’m very excited to get it started.”

Larson is the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion. Sweet is a three-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion. Larson is married to Katelyn, Brad’s sister.

This is only their latest venture. Last year, Larson and Sweet announced they had gone in as partners to become the promoters of Silver Dollar Speedway.
