World of Outlaws results from Thursday night the Knoxville Nationals

They’re back with a new set of cars for Thursday’s portion of the Knoxville Nationals in Iowa. With over 100 cars in attendance, the other half of the field is set to touch the half-mile dirt track for the first time after last night’s opener.

Report

Green flag, they run side by side into turn one and off turn two. Allan finally clears him on the outside off turn four.

Lap 5, Kyle Larson has climbed from 22nd to 10th. He’s flying to the front but he’s 8 seconds back of the leader.

Brad Sweet takes 2nd away.

Lap 10, Larson is on the cushion and driving by them all. He’s up to 7th.

Lap 12, Larson slides Lyndon Jeffrey for 6th. Larson needs a caution.

Lap 15, Allen has caught the tail of the field. Sweet is closing on his bumper.

5 to go, Sweet knocks the cushion in turn three. He nearly pulls to the right rear of Allen. Carson Mecedo is closing on both of them.

3 to go, Larson to 4th.

1 to go, Allen works heavy lap traffic.
