Today, the NASCAR Cup Series is on the grid in Fort Worth, Texas. The 1.55-mile of Texas Motor Speedway is set to host the opening race in the Round of 12 for the NASCAR Playoffs.

Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano set the front row. 334 laps of stock car racing are up next.

Texas Race
Stage 1 – Report

Laps: (1-105 / 334)

Green flag, they run side by side into turn one. They remain side by side for a full lap, Keselowski takes the spot as they return to turn one.

Bubba Wallace has hit the pit lane with a steering issue. The crew takes a look and sends him back out.

Lap 34, Brad Keselowski gets loose on corner entry into turn one. He chases it up the banking, off-thottle. Joey Logano takes over the lead and Byron moves to 2nd.

Lap 40, Martin Truex Jr spins off turn four and he brushes the outside wall, caution.

Logano leads the field to the pit lane but Byron wins the race to the pit exit.

Pit Penalty: Keselowski will drop to the rear after speeding on the pit lane.

Green, Byron and Logano run side by side into turn one. They remain side by side a full lap, Byron drives it deep as they return to turn one, Byron to the lead.

Lap 50, Kyle Busch spins and backs it into the fence off turn four! The caution is out.

Lap 56

Lap 56, Ty Dillon makes contact with Ricky Stenhouse Jr off turn four. Stenhouse Jr tags the wall and spins, caution.

Lap 78, Christopher Bell has a flat right rear. At the same time, Cole Custer also has a flat right rear, caution.

Lap 87, Byron misses the groove in turn one and he runs wide off turn two. Denny Hamlin takes over the lead.

Lap 89, Reddick looks inside of Hemric off turn two. As they slow each other down, Larson has a run. Larson shoves Hamlin into turn three. Hamlin runs wide off turn four, Larson to the lead!

8 to go in stage one, Alex Bowman tags the wall in turn four. The caution is out.

Elliott pits with many of the leaders. Larson stays out.

Green, Larson and Hamlin run side by side as Byron looks to make it three wide. Larson and Hamlin fight for space off turn two. Larson holds the lead into turn three.

1 to go in stage one, Hamlin is all over the bumper of Larson off turn two! Larson throws a huge block.

Kyle Larson wins stage one at Texas Motor Speedway! Hamlin gives a light bump to Larson after the checkered flag.

Hamlin radio, “Tell him, I’m not lifting on the next one.”

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 105 (105-210 / 334)

Larson leads the field to the pit lane. Keselowski wins the race to the pit exit with just two tires. 20+ cars stayed out, Stenhouse Jr and Michael McDowell lead them to the restart.

Green flag on stage two, Stenhouse Jr and McDowell run side by side for the lead. Stenhouse Jr wins the battle on the inside into turn three.

Lap 116, Reddick hits the pit lane with a vibration.

Lap 123, Stenhouse Jr runs wide off turn four and nearly tags the wall. As he lifts, Harrison Burton and Chase Elliott drive by, Burton leads.

Lap 136, Christopher Bell spins with another flat tire, caution.

Burton leads the field to the pit lane but it’s a very slow stop for him as the crew deals with a fuel fire during the stop. Elliott wins the race to the pit exit.

Green, Elliott and Chastain run side by side for the lead. Elliott wins the battle via the inside lane in turn three.

Lap 168

Lap 168, Cody Ware gets loose, he overcorrects and drives nose first into the outside wall. The front wheels are pushed completely into the car and off the ground. With no steering, he heads toward the pit lane and slams the pit lane wall. Ware slowly climbs from his machine.

Larson hits the pit lane for a second time after missing a lugnut.

Lap 184, race leader Chase Elliott blows a tire off turn four! He slams the wall and he’s done for the day! Ryan Blaney takes over the lead.

Lap 197, Chris Buescher spins from 10th off turn four, caution.

Ryan Blaney wins stage two at Texas Motor Speedway!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 124 (211-334 / 334)

Blaney leads most of the field to the pit lane. Larson wins the race to the pit exit with fuel only. Larson restarts 14th. Michael McDowell and Erik Jones lead them to the restart.

Lap 220, the red flag is out as rain is in the area. Stage three has yet to start.

Several hours later…

Green flag on stage three, McDowell and Jones run side by side into turn one. A lap later, McDowell noses ahead into turn one. Jones hangs on his right rear off turn two. McDowell shuts the door but Jones was barely there. Jones is stuffed into the outside wall and McDowell holds the lead.

Lap 227, Reddick has a run on McDowell. He dives inside, Reddick to the lead!

Lap 243, Chris Buescher has a flat tire, caution.

Reddick leads the field to the pit lane but Larson wins the race to the pit exit with a two tire call. Larson restarts 11th.

Green, Harvick clears Martin Truex Jr into turn one, Harvick leads.

Lap 253, race leader Harvick blows a tire! He slams the wall and Truex Jr is handed the lead.

Green, Truex Jr clears Byron into turn one.

73 to go

73 to go, Byron brushes the wall off turn two after fighting for space with Denny Hamlin. Austin Dillon makes it three wide for 2nd.

66 to go, race leader Martin Truex Jr has a flat tire and the caution is out! Byron spins Hamlin under the caution flag! Hamlin catches Byron under caution and gives him a shot in the bumper. Dillon is handed the lead.

The field hits the pit lane. Reddick wins the race to the pit exit.Stenhouse Jr and Todd Gilliland lead them to the restart as they stayed out.

Green, Stenhouse Jr and Gilliland run side by side, Stenhouse Jr wins the battle.

35 to go, Ricky Stenhouse Jr spins from 3rd off turn two, caution. Austin Cindric spins to avoid him, no contact.

Green, Almirola spins in turn two as they’re five wide and out of room, caution.

Green, Reddick and Logano run side by side for the lead. Reddick wins the battle via the inside lane into turn three.

10 to go, Reddick leads Logano by 1.5 seconds.
