Toyota Racing Development driver moving up the NASCAR ladder
Isabella Robusto is a TRD development driver. The 18-year-old is set to make her debut in the ARCA Menards Series after racing late models under the Toyota banner.

The 18-year-old will compete in 5 different series for the 2023 season. She’ll race in the CARS Tour in LMSC (Lee Faulk Racing) and PLM (Wilson Motorsports), Pirelli GTA America Series (Smooge Racing), GR Cup Series (Nitro Motorsports), ARCA East and ARCA National Series (Venturini Motorsports).

“I’m excited to climb the NASCAR ladder with VMS this season in the ARCA car for the first time,” exclaimed Robusto. “Toyota has helped me grow so much in the past year. From winning my first late model race with Lee Faulk Racing to just growing my racing resume.”
“Getting the opportunity to compete in so many various series this season is really exciting for me,” Robusto stated.
“TRD has given me the tools to help my craft both on and off the race track and I’m looking forward to the challenge of learning different race cars and different styles of tracks this season with a mixture of ovals, road courses and even dirt tracks.”
She added via social media, “I am beyond blessed and ecstatic for these opportunities from Toyota Racing and my amazing sponsors. I can’t wait to work with and learn from all these top caliber teams. And I’m thrilled to be getting this experience across so many racing series.”

“We are thrilled to have Isabella at VMS. She has been in the TD2 program for a few years and we have tested with her at the TRD combine test. She showed very well and we’re expecting her to have a solid debut. I’m looking forward to working with her for years to come,” remarked team owner, Billy Venturini.
