Stewart-Haas Racing announcement set for Wednesday

It’s rumored that Josh Berry will take the seat of the No. 4 in 2023

Stewart-Haas Racing has scheduled an announcement for Wednesday at 1PM ET.

Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, Rodney Childers and Greg Zipadelli will all be in attendance. It’s expected that Josh Berry will join them.

The speculation hints that Berry will be announced as the driver of the No. 4 car for the 2024 season.

Berry has run 8 NASCAR Cup Series races in 2023. He filled the seat of the No. 9 and the No. 48, while Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman were out due to injuries. During those stints, he picked up a best finish of 2nd at Richmond Raceway.

Berry’s full-time ride is in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports. He has 5 Xfinity wins in 76 races.

Berry is signed with KHI Management. The company is a sports marketing agency, owned by Harvick.

Kevin Harvick is set to retire from full-time NASCAR Cup Series competition at the end of this season. He’ll make the move to the Fox Sports broadcast team next year.

Harvick has collected 60 wins over a 23-year career.

Anheuser-Busch has been a long-time partner with Kevin Harvick and Stewart-Haas Racing. However, the company hasn’t claimed an extension of that deal. Busch is rumored to switch to Trackhouse Racing and Ross Chastain, though nothing has been announced.
