NASCAR’s Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch to race late model

The three NASCAR drivers are set to go late model racing

Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch all race full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. However, mid-week races have opened the door for both drivers to go short track racing.

All three will be running an asphalt super late model. And all of them will be in different events across the country in June and July.

Kyle Larson will jump behind the wheel of a late model as soon as next week. The driver has joined the entry list for the CARS Tour event at Caraway Speedway on June 28th.

Caraway Speedway is a .455-mile oval. The track is located in Asheboro, North Carolina.

Larson will drive the No. 5 car with sponsorship from HendrickCars.com. The car will be fielded by JR Motorsports.

Larson tweeted, “Some news. Looking forward to the CARS Tour at Caraway next week. Thanks for the opportunity Dale Jr and JR Motorsports.”

Elliott is set to race in the Slinger Nationals on July 11th. He’ll drive the No. 9 FR8 Auctions late model.

Elliott made the announcement via twitter, “Headed your way Wisconsin! I’ll be running at Slinger Speedway on July 11th in the Slinger Nationals.”

Slinger Speedway is a 1/4-mile bullring track. It’s located in Slinger, Wisconsin.

Matt Kenseth will also be in the same event. That was announced a few weeks prior.
