A test session is scheduled for New Hampshire Motor Speedway
NASCAR has scheduled a test session for July 17th at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This will take place directly following the race weekend in Loudon, NH.
Earlier this season, NASCAR ran a range of different short track packages during a test. Many drivers continued to say they were looking for even less downforce. Some of those wanted NASCAR to completely remove the rear spoiler.
In next week’s test, a new splitter will be installed, developed by NASCAR. This is the latest part aimed at improving the short track package.
Christopher Bell, Harrison Burton, William Byron, Justin Haley, Ryan Preece and Erik Jones will take part in the test.
Following the test, changes to the package for the 2023 season won’t be likely. However, it’s always possible, as NASCAR has previously stated.
