NASCAR has concluded a race weekend on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. It ended with Michael McDowell grabbing his first win of the 2023 season. A new winner has shaken up the playoff point standings.

Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman each missed several races earlier this season. They have been chasing a win in order to qualify for the playoffs.
Only two races remain before the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs begin. Next weekend, the series races at Watkins Glen International and the regular season concludes the following week at Daytona International Speedway.
