Watch the video of the Eldora Speedway incident below.

Jason Feger, driver of the No. 25 car spun off turn two. He slid toward the infield where he was caught by the infield wall.

As he struck the wall, the rear spoiler went through the fence. A kid standing against the fence was hit by the sheet metal spoiler end plate.

The kid was not injured. However, his sweater was torn from the spoiler.

After the race, Feger and his team were loading up when the kid approached. He was gifted the spoiler end plate, signed by the driver.

Jason Feger comments

“I’m sure everyone has seen the replay or the clip of this young man getting hit at Eldora,” Jason Feger opened via social media.

“He came over as we were loading up and was in good spirits. He was struck in the shoulder and the spoiler had tore his black jacket and there was pink powdercoat all over it. Needless to say he went home with an autographed spoiler side.”

Feger added, “Even though he wasn’t hurt and he has a story to tell for a long time, please be safe when you are at the racetrack. Things happen fast.”

Eldora Speedway Results: October 22, 2023 ($100k – DTWC)
