Race Report
Green flag, they run side by side in turn one and off turn two. Yarbrough noses ahead via the inside lane and he takes the lead early.
Lap 5, Berry dives inside of Yarbrough into turn one. Berry completes the pass off turn two and he takes the lead away.
Lap 50, Berry leads Yarbrough by two car lengths. He’s closing on the tail of the field.
Lap 62, a car is off track and the caution is out.
Green, Berry clears Yarbrough to hold the lead.
Lap 71, car spins off turn two and collects the inside wall. The caution is back out.
Green, Berry leads as Matt Cox and Yarbrough rub doors for 2nd.
Lap 67, Travis Truett and Stacy Puryear tangle and the caution is back out.
Green, Berry leads as Yarbrough works the outside lane and attempts to work to his right rear.
Lap 77, Brandon Pierce slows, caution.
Lap 78, Josh Dickens is upside down! The car comes to a rest on it’s roof but Dickens has climbed out. The red flag is out.
Lap 79, Cox works under Yarbrough into turn one. A lap later, he completes the pass, Cox to 2nd.
Lap 91, Casey Wyatt is off track in turn two, caution.
Lap 95, Doug Barnes, Katie Hettinger and Tristan McKee tangle. The caution is out.
Green, Berry and Cox run side by side for the lead. Several laps later, Berry finally clears him via the inside lane.
Race break
Lap 100, the race break caution is out.
Green, Berry gets the jump and he’s clear into turn one.
Lap 106, Kaden Honeycutt has a run off turn two. Berry lifts and Honeycutt leads into turn three.
Lap 110, Kade Brown is working the outside lane. He works to the right rear of Berry and he’s not done as he works outside of Honeycutt in the battle for the lead. Brown takes the lead away!
Lap 180, Brown leads Cox by three car lengths.

38 to go, Justin Milliken is around in turn two with help from Landon Huffman, caution.
Matt Cox has stalled from 2nd under the yellow! Cox gets a push to the pit lane. Carson Kvapil takes over 2nd. This will be a mandatory fuel stop as the caution laps have not counted and teams are low on fuel.
Green, Brown and Kvapil run side by side at the front of the field. Kvapil nearly completes the pass on the outside but Brown fights back to the inside.
35 to go, a car has stalled, caution. Kvapil was ahead at the last completed lap.
Green, Carson Kvapil launches from the outside lane. He runs side by side with Brown for the lead.
33 to go, Trent Barnes, Josh Williams and others tangle off turn four, caution.
Green, Kvapil is running higher than anyone has all night. Kvapil holds the lead over Brown and Berry.
30 to go, Dale Earnhardt Jr is on the move. He’s climbed to 7th after running outside the top-10 for most of the night.
28 to go, Casey Wyatt is off track, caution.
Green, Kvapil and Brown run side by side off turn two. Several laps later, they rub doors.

27 to go, Landon Huffman stalls on the frontstretch, caution. Brown is scored as they new leader.
Green, Brown clears Kvapil via the outside lane off turn two. Kaden Honeycutt follows him through to take 2nd away.
17 to go, Earnhardt Jr makes contact with Lanie Buice. They both lose several positions but they gather it up.
15 to go, Brown has opened the gap.
7 to go, Kvapil leans on the bumper of Honeycutt in the battle for 2nd. Honeycutt holds the position.
6 to go, Doug Barnes is off track, caution.
Green, Honeycutt runs Brown wide into turn one! Brown crosses under him and dives inside into turn three. He gives it back and he runs Honeycutt wide in turn three! Brown returns to the lead.
Kade Brown wins the South Carolina 400!
