Daniel Suarez paint scheme for NASCAR Mexico Series race at Clash

Daniel Suarez will run both races at the LA Coliseum

On Sunday, February 4th the NASCAR Mexico Series will race at the LA Coliseum. The race takes place just ahead of the Busch Light Clash for the NASCAR Cup Series.

The Mexico Series class is a new addition to the Clash event.

Daniel Suarez raced in the NASCAR Mexico Series back in 2008. Now, he returns to the series as he’ll run both races at the LA Coliseum.

Trackhouse Racing and Quaker State began a partnership in 2023. That deal is extended for 2024 and now they’ll also serve as the primary sponsor for Suarez in the NASCAR Mexico Series event.

Daniel Suarez comments

“I never thought I would have the opportunity to race in the Mexico Series again,” said Suárez.

“There are a ton of people who helped me in my career still involved in the series so it will be cool to go back and race with them. NASCAR’s Mexico Series is a great place to learn and over time I think will start producing drivers who will come to America.”

“I cannot thank Quaker State and NASCAR enough for making this opportunity possible.”

Bree Sandlin

“We are extremely happy to announce an increased alliance with Trackhouse Racing in 2024 and the addition of the NASCAR Mexico Series race with Daniel,” said Bree Sandlin, Vice President, Shell Lubricants North America Marketing.

“Trackhouse is a championship-contending team with talented drivers Daniel Suárez, Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen and is stewarded by a fantastic ownership tandem in Justin Marks and Pitbull. This is the perfect match with the energy Trackhouse brings to the sport and Quaker State’s legacy of winning motorsports moments and strong heritage in the Mexico market.”

Justin Marks

“We are honored to continue our relationship with Quaker State and take pride they are one of Trackhouse’s strongest supporters,” team co-owner Justin Marks stated.

Not only is Quaker State a good partner on the business side but the expertise they bring to our team when it comes to oils and lubricants that go in our race cars every race gives us an advantage on the track.”
