Kyle Busch and Christopher Bell are former teammates at Joe Gibbs Racing. Busch made the move to Richard Childress Racing for the 2023 season.

After the race, Kyle Busch ran out of fuel. His former teammate, Martin Truex Jr gave him a push back to the pit lane.

As Busch returned to the pits, he climbed from his car in a hurry. He walked right to the driver of the No. 20 car and the two had a heated conversation.

Christopher Bell comments

“I mean yeah, he’s very upset,” Christopher Bell told Fox Sports.

“He ended up turned around. First off, I’m sorry to Larson, I got him earlier in the race. By not intention at all, I didn’t mean to do that.”

“But, KB is frustrated about what happened in turn one. I don’t know, they were two wide going in there. I haven’t seen a replay yet.”

“But, I had no intentions of turning him and I’m sure we’ll talk it out before the next race.”

Bell added when speaking to Bob Pockrass, “With Larson, I made a mistake, got into the back of him and spun him out.”

“But KB, he opened his entry up and then tried the crossover when I was running my line. Had I known that he was going to come across the racetrack, I would have braked a little bit. But, I never expected him to do that.”

Bell concluded, “I need to see a replay.”
