NASCAR drivers Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin feud for the second week in a row
On Sunday, NASCAR raced at Nashville Superspeedway. And, for the second week in a row, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson were running into each other.

In the final laps of stage two, Hamlin and Larson were running inches apart and fighting for space. Larson then threw a slider into turn one. He doored Hamlin, running him up the track.
Hamlin jumped on the radio to say, “Alright, I’ll get him.”
After crossing the finish line to end the stage on the same lap, Hamlin stayed in the gas. He climbed to the bumper of Larson, shoving him into turn one. He then leaned on him some more as Hamlin’s Crew chief was all over the team radio.

Chris Gabehart (#11 Crew chief): “Take care of it right here. Take care of it.”
“We’re good enough to win the race. Don’t worry about that.”
As Hamlin was running into Larson under caution, Gabehart yellow, “Hey! Hey! We’re good! Stop!”
He added, “We’re good enough to win this race … Stop!

The race went into quintuple overtime. Hamlin and Larson were in a battle for the race win.
In the first of those overtime attempts, Larson drove it deep to the bottom in turn one. He was attempting to get to the bumper of Hamlin. He did reach the bumper but then an error was made.
Larson clipped the apron of the track. As he chased his car up the track, collecting Ross Chastain, ending the day for Chastain.
In the subsequent overtime attempt, Larson ran out of fuel. Hamlin also ran out of fuel.
History between Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin
These two drivers have a long history, all from recent years.
In March 2022, Hamlin spun Larson at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Both cars crashed in the incident as they raced for 2nd.
In May 2023, Hamlin and Larson made more contact at Kansas Speedway.
In June 2023, Hamlin ran Larson wide in the closing laps at Pocono Raceway. Hamlin went on to grab the race win with the controversial move.

Last week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, their feud resurfaced into the 2024 season. Hamlin ran Larson wide for the 2nd position. It caused a bit of a rift between Larson and his spotter.
