As of today, the team has announced the 20-year-old Dallon Murty will step into the seat. He’ll race with teammate Tyler Bruening.
Mike Marlar left Skyline Motorsports in September.
Murty recently won the $100,000-to-win Stock Car Rampage at Sports Park Raceway in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

The team has funding from Bruening Rock Products and Stealth Oilwell Services. Murty will drive the No. 13 dirt late model.
The team fields AK Race Cars out of their Decorah, Iowa shop.
Dallon Murty comments
“This is what you dream of as a kid,” Murty stated via the team release.
“To work your way up to the point where you can drive for someone else. I can’t thank Greg and Tyler enough for the opportunity. It’s awesome to be part of a top-notch program like Skyline Motorsports. I’m looking forward to working with the entire team.”
“I also want to thank my family and sponsors who’ve helped me reach this point — it means a lot.”

Skyline Motorsports statement
“Obviously, I’m excited,” team owner Greg Bruening opened.
“It’s always tough to make a driver change. Mike was all class and a great teammate to Tyler, but with Dallon, I feel like we’re giving the next generation a chance.”
“There’s no question he has tremendous potential and a bright future ahead of him, but this is also a way for us to give back to the sport. In the past, we’ve had teammates who mentored Tyler, and now I want to reverse the roles and have him take the lead.”
“Despite his youth, Dallon has an extensive racing background, and he’s proven to be competitive in anything he drives.”
Bruening concluded, “He’s also very hands-on and not afraid to get underneath the car and make adjustments. That kind of work ethic goes a long way in this sport.”
The team will open their schedule with Speedweeks in 2026.
