Green flag, Overton is clear in turn one. Thornton Jr holds off Hudson O’Neal for 2nd.
Lap 3, O’Neal to 2nd.
Lap 10, GR Smith slows, caution.
Green, Overton leads. O’Neal runs wide into turn one and he loses several positions.
Lap 11, Kyle Larson has found speed on the cushion. He works to the right rear of Thornton Jr and takes 2nd away.
Lap 15, slow car, caution.
Green, Overton leads as Thornton Jr and Larson run side by side for 2nd. Larson cuts to the bottom and takes the lane away to hold 2nd.
Lap 25, Overton works heavy lap traffic. Larson has closed to within a car length. Larson dives to his inside in turn three and he nearly slides him for the lead.
Lap 27, Larson hits a lap car road block and he’s forced to lift. Ricky Thornton Jr joins the battle for the lead and takes 2nd away.
Lap 29, Overton and Thornton Jr split lap traffic off turn two, Ricky Thornton Jr to the lead!
Lap 35, Overton works inside of Thornton Jr and they fight for space off turn two. Thornton Jr shuts the door in turn three and holds the lead.
Lap 39, Larson is coming on the top! He works to the right rear of Overton and Larson retakes 2nd.
9 to go
9 to go, Larson jumps the cushion in turn one. He brushes the wall and falls to 3rd.
8 to go, Overton slides in front of Larson off the corner. Larson jacks up his fuel cell but they both keep rolling.
6 to go, Overton works to the outside of Thornton Jr for the lead. They run side by side. Overton jumps the cushion in turn three, Larson retakes 2nd as Overton loses a ton of ground.
2 to go, Larson heads for the cushion in turn three. He works to the outside of Thornton Jr and takes the lead at the line.
