Watch the video of the CARS Tour drama at Anderson Motor Speedway
The CARS Tour raced at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, South Carolina. There was drama on track and in the pit lane during the event.
Tyler Reif climbed over the back of Landon Huffman into turn three. Huffman was sent into the corner backwards and he slammed the outside wall.
Reif went to the pit area for repairs. As the crew was working on the car, Huffman was walking down to have a chat.
When he approached the car of Reif, Huffman kicked in the door. He then stuck his head in the driver’s window of Reif’s machine to have a chat with the driver.
Crew members and a CARS Tour official pulled Huffman away from the scene. Two police officers stepped in soon after.
Landon Huffman comments
“Rich kids. It’s really frustrating,” Huffman told FloSports.
“That kid doesn’t run in this series. He thinks he’s hot (expletive) because his grandpa’s on the west coast and makes like bolts that go in turbines or something and thinks he can be a racecar driver.”
“It’s really aggravating. You work so hard on these racecars every week. This deal gets more and more expensive.”
“You can’t race side-by-side, I got rooted out of the way with the No. 40. Them, the No. 4, just doesn’t know how to race.”
“It costs so much to do this and when you get run over by a little spoiler (expletive) brat, it’s frustrating.”
Tyler Reif offers an apology
Later on, Reif walked toward the Huffman’s pit area. It appeared that Reif offered an apology.
Hoffman said, “Yeah, pay for my racecar then. Then, (expletive) you man. You got plenty of money.”
