Ahead of qualifying, the field took to the track for a brief practice session. Kyle Busch was fastest overall in practice with a 22.558.
The field has been split into two groups for round one of knockout qualifying. The top 5 from each group advance into round two.

Ryan Blaney was the only car to advance into round two who shut it down after his first lap in round 1. Blaney is rolling into round two with one less lap on his qualifying tires.
It paid off as Ryan Blaney will start from the pole position with a 22.541 in round two. William Byron completes the front row.
