NASCAR penalty report from Richmond Raceway

Over the weekend, Richmond Raceway hosted the latest round of the NASCAR schedule. The Ridgeway, Virginia short track welcomed the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series on the ticket.

Cole Custer was the winner of the NXS race on Friday night. Martin Truex Jr drove it to the win in the Saturday night MENCS event.

Tyler Reddick picked up the lone penalty in the mid-week NASCAR penalty report. He drove his #2 machine to a 4th place finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event and had a single lug nut violation to go with it.

Driver/Car: Tyler Reddick #2

Violation: Sections 10.9.10.4: Tires and Wheels – Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.

Penalty: Crew chief (Randall Burnett) has been fined $5,000.

No penalties were announced for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
