NASCAR suspends two crew members after the race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway
Over the weekend, NASCAR raced in Loudon, NE. The 1-mile track of New Hampshire Motor Speedway hosted the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday.
During the race, William Byron lost a wheel. Per the rules, two crew members have been suspended for multiple race weekends.
Typically, when a wheel falls of during a race, it’s shortly after a pit stop. Unique in this case, Byron’s wheel came off long after a pit stop.

Level: Safety
Infraction: Sections 8.8.10.4 A&D: Tires and Wheels; Safety Violations Note: Loss or separation of an improperly installed tire/wheel from the vehicle during the event.
Penalty: Orane Ossowski and Allen Holman have been suspended from the next two NASCAR Cup Series Championship points events, through and including Darlington.
Other Notes
NASCAR Member: Quinta Funderburk
Remarks: Quinta Funderburk has been reinstated and he is eligible to return to all NASCAR activity.
