ARCA hands out three penalties after Michigan; Slur lands suspension

Venturini Motorsports handed three penalties; Drama continued after Michigan crash

Last weekend, the ARCA Menards Series took the green at Michigan International Speedway. It was the first of two races on the weekend for the stock car racing series.

Drew Dollar and Thad Moffitt got into each other on lap 1 of the race. Laps later, Moffitt retaliated, new totaling the car for Drew Dollar.

As Dollar spun across the track, Tim Richmond was collected. Richmond broke his leg in the crash and he expects that his season has come to an early end.

Slur

After the race, the two ARCA teams found themselves at the Airport together. That’s according to comments on social media.

DGR Crosley fields the entry for Thad Moffitt.

Ryan Hines, a DGR employee tweeted, “Man, it’s just really, really cool to hear Kevin Reed yell gay slurs across the airport parking lot. I don’t give a damn how mad you are, don’t be that low.”
