Daytona Duel 2
Report

Green flag, Bowman is clear by two car lengths into turn one. He leads Martin Truex Jr and Denny Hamlin off turn two.

Lap 2, Almirola jumps out of line and falls right to the back of the field. Logano leads a charge on the outside lane. Most of the field runs two-by-two from front to back.

Lap 13, Logano is pushed to the lead on the outside by Harrison Burton. However, now Logano has a dangling rear defuser.

Austin Dillon gets pushed to the lead on the outside lane

Lap 17, Chris Buescher gets a push and he takes over the race lead. Buescher begins blocking both lanes.

Lap 19, Ricky Stenhouse Jr moves to the outside lane, catches the bumper of Kevin Harvick. Buescher jumps from the bottom to the top and throws a huge block to hold the lead.

Lap 20, Buescher leads as the entire field forms single file around the top lane.

Pit cycle

Lap 26, Kyle Busch leads the Toyota group to the pit lane. Hamlin spins under breaking as he attempts to hit the lane. Two tires for all except Hamlin who took four.

Lap 31, the Ford and Chevrolet group remain on the track. They’ve also caught a two from the Toyota group who just pitted but sit just ahead of the leaders on the tail of the lead lap. They’re closing on them.

Lap 32, Buescher leads the Ford and Chevrolet group to the pit lane. Joey Logano leads them to the pit exit. A very slow stop for Greg Biffle!

22 to go, Logano leads Buescher, McDowell and Burton. It’s a four car breakaway at the front.

10 to go, Logano continues to lead. The four car breakaway continues to stretch away from the rest of the field.

5 to go, Austin Dillon just went a lap down. Now, he heads for the pit lane to grab right side tires. He’ll be buried in the starting grid on Sunday.

1 to go, Logano moves up to work around lap traffic. Buescher looks to his inside off turn two. Logano throws a block and gets turned!
