Each year, Lionel Racing, a maker of die-cast cars creates a list of their most popular items from the season. For 2023, eight different drivers have made the list.

Driver: Kevin Harivck
Kevin Harvick is the only driver on this list twice. The driver ended a Hall of Fame career in the 2023 season.
This Bud paint scheme was used at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It was the location of his last NASCAR Cup Series championship.

Driver: Dale Earnhardt Jr
Dale Earnhardt Jr has been running several short track events in recent years. After creating his first Late Model die-cast, he requested that Lionel scan a stock car and get a closer body shape. The new mold has opened the door for short track racers all over the country to create their own die-cast.
This paint scheme was used in the 30th running of the South Carolina 400 event at Florence Motor Speedway.

Chase Elliott is a regular on this list. He’s a six-time winner of NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver award.
For 2023, the NAPA paint scheme was his most used scheme. The scheme was run in 26 races.

Shane Van Gisbergen is a champion driver in Supercars. For 2023, he took a chance, visiting the United States for his first NASCAR Cup Series event.
He shocked the world of stock car racing as he drove to victory lane in his first ever start. The win came on the Streets of Chicago.

In 2023, Kyle Busch made the switch from Joe Gibbs Racing to Richard Childress Racing. The move came after 15 years with JGR.

Driver: Kevin Harvick
Kevin Harvick made his NASCAR debut driving the #29 car for Richard Childress Racing. 2023 marked his final season of full-time competition. While driving the No. 4 car he asked Richard Childress if he could use the No. 29 for a retro paint scheme.
The car is similar to the paint scheme during his first win in 2001 via Atlanta Motor Speedway.
