Ken Schrader comments on Dale Earnhardt

Ken Schrader reflects on racing with Dale Earnhardt after an old quote about the crash surfaced

In 2001, Dale Earnhardt lost his life in a crash during the Daytona 500. Ken Schrader was collected in the crash.

Both cars came to a rest on the infield grass. Earnhardt’s window net never came down, bad signs were looming.

Schrader ran over to the No. 3 car, the first one to the scene.

Schrader formerly said, “What I saw in the car that day, that will stay with you. I saw a friend in trouble. I didn’t know for certain, but I would have bet. That sticks with you.”

That quote resurfaced. It came across Schrader’s timeline and he started reflecting on racing with the Intimidator.

Ken Schrader added, “I loved him but his wasn’t much fun to race with!”

Then he added, “He was just like Tony Stewart or AJ Foyt. Very sweet Ass Holes! I love them all!!!”

Ken Schrader is still racing today. He picked up 9 wins in his dirt modified last season.

Dale Earnhardt Sr used nitrous to qualify for his first NASCAR race

Dale Earnhardt Jr stole $80 from his dad’s coin jar, was expelled from school and also got the belt (a few times)
