NASCAR is set to return to the LA Coliseum for the Busch Light Clash. In addition to the NASCAR Cup Series race, the NASCAR Mexico Series will be making their first appearance on the 1/4-mile bullring.
Hear from NASCAR below.
In previous years, only the NASCAR Cup Series machines took to the track. That allowed the event to completed in a single day.
For 2024, the event is split into a two-day show. Practice/qualifying and heat races will take place on Saturday. The LCQ and main events will run on Sunday.
Originally, NASCAR didn’t have plans to open the grandstands to the public for Saturday’s portion of the show. The race fans were highly vocal with their disapproval.
NASCAR has now responded in a big way. The grandstands will be free to enter on Saturday, no ticket for Sunday is required.

NASCAR opens grandstands for Saturday at The Clash
“Hey race fans, we’ve heard you loud and clear,” Ben Kennedy opened in a social media video.
“I am happy to announce that on Saturday, February 3rd at the LA Coliseum we’re going to opening our gates. Free to the public for practice, qualifying and heat races for the NASCAR Mexico Series and NASCAR Cup Series.”
“That is regardless if you have a ticket to Sunday or not.”
