NASCAR driver Kyle Busch issues a warning to Corey LaJoie after contact at Pocono Raceway
Last week, Corey LaJoie hooked the left rear of Kyle Busch as Pocono Raceway. The wreck into turn one collected multiple cars and created a new feud.

LaJoie pulled to the inside of Busch on a restart, making it six wide. With the corner approaching, LaJoie arguably attempted to tuck in behind Busch.
Busch was instead hooked in the left rear. He was sent spinning through the infield grass. As he came back across the track, multiple cars were collected.
LaJoie stated, “Sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug. I’m not the guy that wants to wreck anybody. But, I think if Kyle blocks only once, then we both go around the corner.”
The No. 7 driver also reacted to Busch’s post-incident interview, “You know he’s thinking something vastly different than what he’s saying. I texted him. Maybe I should call him. Maybe I should send him flowers, I don’t know.”
NASCAR reviewed the incident for a possible penalty. In the two weeks prior, they issued $50,000 fines to Bubba Wallace and Carson Hocevar for contact on the track. However, they elected not to penalize Lajoie.
After the incident, Kyle Busch had very little to say. However, days later, he’s opened up on the incident.
Busch now claims, “Payback’s coming.”

“What isn’t allowed to happen is basically what happened to me last weekend at Pocono with Corey LaJoie,” Kyle Busch stated via The Pat Mcafee Show.
“I was blocking him. Well, we’re already five wide. You’ll see the yellow line coming up. So, Corey’s like, ‘Well, gotta get back on the race track.’ “
“Instead of just blending in behind me and making sure that he doesn’t crash the whole field. He just clips me. That’s like, stupid. What are we doing? We’re going 190mph into that corner and we’re gonna wreck each other?”
“And that’s the second time he did that this year. He did it to old 7-time, Jimmie Johnson at Kansas.”
“He texted me and then he called me. I didn’t even reach back out because he changed his story four times.”
“I’m like, ‘You’re just a liar.’ “
“He wrecked me. Whatever, it’s fine. Payback’s coming.”
“I don’t have faith in any of them. I’ve been wrecked 5 out of the last 7 races by somebody. Maybe I’m just slow and I’m in the way.”
“Our cars have not been that great right now. We’re working on it.”
