Watch the Carson Hocevar vs Harrison Burton video below.
With just 58 laps to go, Brad Keselowski was spun and he backed it into the outside wall. And, under caution, the drama picked up.
Carson Hocevar elected to turn Harrison Burton. He hooked him in the right rear. Burton narrowly avoided the outside wall as he was spun in front of the field.
The No. 21 team stated over the radio, “He wrecked us under caution.”
Jeff Burton stated from the NBC booth, “I don’t think NASCAR’s going to like that, under caution.”
Hocevar attempted to gaslight the shenanigans under caution as he came over the radio, “Why the **** would he check up.”
The No. 77 team responded, “Just get caught up. Stay off the radio.”
NASCAR has elected to issue a steep penalty to the No. 77 team. Driver Carson Hocevar has been fined $50,000 and he’s also been docked 25 points.
