NASCAR crew member ejected from Nashville Superspeedway
On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series will race at Nashville Superspeedway. Saturday is a day of practice and qualifying.
Ahead of practice and qualifying, teams rolled through NASCAR Inspection. All cars passed inspection on their first attempt.
However, after clearing inspection, NASCAR discovered a violation on the No. 51 driven by Justin Haley. The team made an unapproved adjustment.
Per the rules, the team will start at the rear of the field and serve a pass-through penalty at the start of the race. Additionally, they’ve lost pit selection.
Car chief JR Norris has also been ejected for the remainder of the weekend.
