Watch the video as NASCAR shows off the parts that brought disqualifications at Talladega Superspeedway
Last weekend, two cars finishing inside the top 5 at Talladega Superspeedway failed post race tech inspection. Joey Logano and Ryan Preece were both disqualified from the race.
For both cars, they were in violation on the rear spoiler. However, each violation was different.

Additionally, NASCAR noted Section 14.1.P which related to General Vehicle Assembly stating, “All fasteners must be securely fastened at all times during an Event.”
Preece Penalty: Officials noted they discovered “unapproved shims in the rear spoiler area.”
