NASCAR starting positions for Dover Motor Speedway
NASCAR Cup Series drivers have unloaded in Dover, Delaware. The 1-mile track of Dover Motor Speedway is set for a round of practice and qualifying to set the starting grid for Sunday’s race.

Just ahead of qualifying teams rolled to the track for two groups of practice. Many drivers suffered from a loss of grip in both sessions. The track isn’t taking rubber. Austin Dillon will go to a backup car after contact with the wall.
Brad Keselowski is fastest overall following practice. He turned a laptime at 22.690 seconds.
A bit of rain rolled to the track with just two minutes left in group B practice. That rain has washed out qualifying. The starting grid will now be set via the rule book.
Kyle Busch will start from the front row.
