Matt Hicks becomes new ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass licensee

DJ Irvine will help with the transition

Carnesville, GA – Matt Hicks of Langley, KY has become the new licensee of the ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series. He will take the helm of the ULTIMATE region effective immediately. During the transition, DJ Irvine will still serve as a consultant for the Battle of the Bluegrass.

“Matt comes with a true passion for the sport in the Kentucky region,” said FASTRAK Companies International General Manager DJ Irvine, “By living in the area, he will be able to service the region more effectively than we are able to from the home office in Georgia.”

The ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series is set to begin its third season at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN on April 7th. The $3,000 to win season opener will begin the points battle which will pay $5,000 to the winner, with a total points fund of $10,000. Jeremy Hines of Seymour, IN has won back-to-back Championships.

Hicks has operated the Facebook Dirt All-Access, which shares the latest news from around the world of dirt track racing. Dirt All-Access has worked in conjunction with the popular Dirt Unlimited. He is also a retired United States Army veteran.

“I’m looking forward to getting started, there is a lot of great potential and awesome facilities in Kentucky and the surrounding area,” said Hicks, “I have to thank Stan Lester and DJ for giving me this opportunity.”

As the ULTIMATE brand continues to grow, FASTRAK Companies International is looking to add more regions in the future. Anyone who is interested in becoming a licensee should contact the Corporate Office at (678)935-7304.
