NASCAR penalty report for Dover International Speedway

On Tuesday evening, NASCAR released the weekly penalty report. It included two race violations for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Martin Truex Jr went on the win the race which was postponed to a Monday afternoon. Following the race, he cleared the at-track inspection and was officially declared the race winner.

NASCAR Cup Series

Car/Driver: No. 41 Daniel Suarez

Violation: Sections 10.9.10.4: Tires and Wheels – Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.

Penalty: Crew chief (Billy Scott) has been fined $10,000.

Car/Driver: No. 42 Kyle Larson

Violation: Sections 10.9.10.4: Tires and Wheels – Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.

Penalty: Crew chief (Chad Johnston) has been fined $10,000.

NASCAR Xfinity Series

No penalties were announced for the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Dover Penalties
NASCAR Truck Series

No penalties were announced for the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.
