NASCAR penalty report for Kansas Speedway

On Tuesday evening, NASCAR released the weekly penalty report. The Kansas Speedway penalty report included two race violations for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Brad Keselowski held of the field in the green white checkered shootout at Kansas Speedway. He was also one of the drivers found with a loose lug nut after the race had concluded.

One car was taken back to the NASCAR R&D Center following the event. That car and other are clear of any L1 infractions.

Dover Penalties
NASCAR Cup Series

Car/Driver: No. 2 Brad Keselowski

Violation: Sections 10.9.10.4: Tires and Wheels – Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.

Penalty: Crew chief (Paul Wolfe) has been fined $10,000.

Car/Driver: No. 77 Quin Houff

Violation: Sections 10.9.10.4: Tires and Wheels – Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.

Penalty: Crew chief (Peter Sospenzo) has been fined $10,000.

Dover Penalties
NASCAR Truck Series

No penalties were announced for the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.
