Racing Wives Marketing: Take 2
A preview was released ahead of the previous announcement of the show in 2018. It focused on friendly feuds between the wives and the Monster Energy Girls.
That idea might not have been scrapped. However, it has been scrapped from the new promotion. It’s taken a very different turn, probably for the better.
“Friday nights just got fierce on CMT,” the new promo campaign opens.
“On the track, their husbands are high speed rivals. Of the track, these women are in it to win it together.”
Additionally, Samantha Busch was part of a Q&A promo for the show.
“Definitely the hardest part about being married to a driver is worrying about them, all the time,” she said. “At the end of the day, they’re going 200mph.”
“Every time, before he gets in the race car we say a prayer and I give him a kiss. That’s pretty much all you can do in that situation. It’s scary,” Samantha Busch concluded.
