In August 2020, Cedar Lake Speedway hosted the famed USA Nationals for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. Fireworks went off ahead of as well as during the feature event as the stars dirt late model battled for $50,000.

Bobby Pierce and Tyler Erb made contact and Erb went for a spin. He quickly found Pierce under caution and drove into the back of him.

Under caution, the No. 1 driver then coasted backwards around the track in search of Pierce. When he found him, Erb drove into his nose and did a burnout.

Bob Pierce, co-owner of the team and father to Bobby ran out on the track. He reached into the cockpit of Erb, yelled and began swinging.

A World of Outlaws official also ran onto the track. He reached into the cockpit of Erb and attempted to hit the kill switch. In the process, Erb pulled away and knocked the official to the ground.

Needless to say, fans got a show.
