Hendrick Motorsports has released the 2022 paint scheme for Chase Elliott. Like year’s prior, NAPA will serve as the primary sponsor for most races in the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series season.
Over the off-season, NASCAR has made many core changes to the sport. The biggest is the car itself which is a spec chassis, identical from team to team. It’s set to be a dramatic shift.
The new car happens to have a much smaller rear quarter panel. That was primary sponsor space in previous seasons.
NASCAR has corrected that lack of real estate by moving the car numbers forward on the door. Now, the door itself becomes the place for sponsor logos.

With the small change comes a drastic visual shift. Paint schemes are looking very different from years prior, across the board.
There’s a lot of pressure designing a paint scheme for the 2020 NASCAR champion. And, as he’s a four-time Most Popular Driver Award winner, there’s a lot of eyes on the car.
Chase Elliott’s 2022 is quickly seeing a mixed reaction from the fan base on social media. Take a look for yourself below…
