New Smyrna Results: February 13, 2024 (ASA Stars)

Lap 5, Casey Roderick takes 2nd away.

Lap 25, Roderick has caught the bumper of the leader. He looks inside of Butcher and takes the lead away.

Lap 31, two cars spin and the caution is out.

Green, Butcher gets the jump and he’s clear into turn one. Butcher runs wide off turn two, Roderick pulls to his inside but Butcher holds him off.

Lap 49, Roderick looks inside of Butcher once more. Butcher holds him off for now.

Lap 55, Roderick moves to the outside this time. He pulls even and clears him, Roderick leads.

Race Break

Lap 75, stage one is complete. The caution is out. The field heads to the pit lane for tires and adjustments.

Green, Roderick is clear as they run side by side for 2nd. Majeski wins the battle for 2nd.

Lap 77, spin in turn one, caution.

Green, Roderick and Majeski run side by side into turn one. Roderick runs wide off turn two, Majeski noses ahead. A lap later, Majeski clears him and takes the lead.

Lap 85, two cars tangle in turn one, caution. Derek Griffith climbs from his car and walks over to scream at Billy VanMeter under the yellow.

Green, Majeski leads Rederick off turn two.

Lap 120, Pollard is all over Roderick in the battle for 2nd. Roderick is on defense via the outside lane. As they work lap traffic, Pollard finally takes the spot away.

Lap 135

Lap 135, the caution is out.

Majeski and the rest of the field head for the pit lane. This is ahead of the stage break in just 15 laps.

Green, Majeski leads as Roderick and Pollard run side by side for 2nd. Roderick wins the battle via the outside lane.

Lap 144, Dawson Sutton is in the turn one wall, caution.

Green, Majeski gets the jump and he;s clear by a car length into turn one.

Lap 146, Stephen Nasse and Brent Crews fight for space. Crews loses the back end and they tangle into turn one. Nasse is hard in the turn wall from 4th! The caution is out.

Green, Majeski spins the tires. He runs even with Pollard into turn one. Gio Ruggiero gets completely sideways but he saves it. Watson spins, caution.

Green with a 4 lap shootout to the final stage break, Pollard gets loose on the inside lane into turn one. Majeski holds the lead off turn two. Roderick returns to 2nd.

Race Break

Lap 150, the second race break caution is out.

Most of the field stays out after pitting just 15 laps ago.

Green, Majeski leads as Roderick and Jett Noland run side by side for 2nd. Noland wins the battle for the inside lane.

41 to go, Pollard works inside of Roderick for 3rd. Pollard has had a long run car all night.

34 to go, Pollard looks under Noland for 2nd. He runs wide into turn one, Pollard takes 2nd away.

33 to go, Majeski leads Pollard by 1 second.

20 to go, Pollard has closed to the bumper of Majeski. Battle for the race win!

18 to go, Pollard leans on the rear bumper of Majeski off turn two! Majeski skates up the banking and Pollard works under him and leads into turn three. Majeski gives him a shot in the bumper but Pollard holds him off.

15 to go, Pollard is driving away from the field.
