On the final lap, Chase Elliott leaned on the rear bumper of Daniel Suarez and took the position away.
Elliott then passed Suarez during the cool down lap and stepped on the brakes. You can see Suarez swerve to avoid him.
In the very next corner, Elliott jumped on the brakes and came across the track at the same time. It looksed like Suarez would have a lane on the outside but Elliott shut the door.
Or, Suarez just drove it in deep to catch the bumper of Elliott in retaliation. Either way, Elliott was sent spinning.
After the finish, there was a bit more drama.
Video from Daniel Hemric’s onboard camera shows Elliott still in the gas after the checkered flag. He pulled even with Suarez and rubbed on his door.
After pulling into the pit lane and climbing from their cars, the two NASCAR drivers talked it out. It appeared to be a civil discussion.
