Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 70 (1-70 / 400)

Green flag, Reddick clears Busch in turn one. Hamlin works inside of Busch for 2nd. Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Martin Truex Jr rub fenders, Truex Jr nearly tags the wall but they all keep rolling.

Lap 14, Bubba Wallace puts the bumper to Chase Elliott off turn four. Wallace takes 4th away.

2 to go in stage one, Wallace works outside of Hamlin for 2nd. They run side by side, Wallace completes the pass on the outside.

Laps: 160 (71-230 / 400)

Green flag on stage two, Reddick and Wallace run side by side into turn one. A lap later, Wallace completes the pass for the lead via the outside lane. Bubba Wallace takes over the lead.

Lap 120, Wallace pits from the race lead.

Pit Penalties: Aric Almirola and Christopher Bell will pass back down the pit lane.

Lap 140, Wallace cycles back to the lead. Reddick trails by 1.3 seconds.

Lap 164, Brad Keselowski works to the right rear of Reddick in the battle for 2nd. Keselowski takes the spot away with a pass on the outside. Keselowski is closing on the leader.

Lap 174, Wallace pits for the second time in this stage. Slow stop for him as the crew didn’t jack up the right side enough to take the wheels off.

Lap 182, Keselowski cycles to the race lead.

Green flag in stage three, Keselowski leads Buescher into turn one.

Lap 263, Keselowski and Buescher are running away from the field. Buescher is exploring lanes and looking for a path to the lead.

Lap 286, Keselowski pits from the race lead. Slow stop for Keselowski, Buescher will cycle to the lead.

Lap 300, Martin Truex Jr leads Buescher by 8 seconds on old tires. He’s on a different strategy and will pit just one more time.

93 to go, Buescher works by Truex Jr to take the lead. With fresher tires, he drives right by.

72 to go, Kyle Larson puts the bumper to Denny Hamlin and moves him up the track. Larson is 2 laps down but has fresher tires.

62 to go, Buescher pits from the race lead. Truex Jr cycles to the lead, Buescher trails by 4 seconds. Buescher has fresher tires.

Pit Penalty: Tyler Reddick will serve a pass-through penalty.

52 to go, Buescher has caught the bumper of Truex Jr. He works to the outside and drives right by, Buescher leads.

35 to go, Buescher leads Hamlin by 6.4 seconds.

20 to go, only 13 cars remain on the lead lap. Buescher leads Hamlin by 6 seconds.

10 to go, Daniel Suarez spins with help from Noah Gragson and the caution is out!

Green with 3 to go, Buescher gets the launch as Hamlin spins the tires on the outside. Hamlin climbs right to the bumper of Buescher.

2 to go, Hamlin runs wide in turn one. They form 3 wide for 2nd, Hamlin holds them off. Buescher opens the gap.
