600 miles of racing is on deck for the premier series of stock car racing. The Coke 600 is a crown jewel NASCAR racing event hosted on the 1.5-mile oval in Concord, North Carolina.

Matt Tifft failed pre-qualifying inspection twice. His engineer has been ejected from the speedway.

The sun is setting at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The later a driver rolls in this session will likely be a slight advantage as the speeds come up on the cooler racing surface.
