Tuesday Night
Feature – Report

Green flag, Larson heads for the bottom into turn one and he’s clear off turn two.

Lap 2, Buddy Kofoid and Kaylee Bryson run side by side for 2nd. Kofoid cuts to the bottom, blocks and holds the spot.

Lap 5, Sam Hafertepe Jr has a flat right front and the caution is out.

Green, Larson slides from the bottom to the cushion in turn one. Kofoid looks to the inside into turn three but can’t complete the pass.

Lap 7, Kofoid closes on the bottom. Larson throws a huge block in turn one. They switch lanes and Kofoid goes to the top.

Lap 10, Larson is back on the cushion. Kofoid does the same and he trails by 4 car lengths.

Lap 13, Jake Swanson slides Bryson for 3rd. He’s climbed from 11th.

Lap 15, Larson works heavy lap traffic as Kofoid follows him through. Swanson is closing on them both.

9 to go

9 to go, Alex Bright spins on his own from 7th and the caution is out.

Green, Larson leads Kofoid into turn one. Larson knocks the cushion as Kofoid works the inside berm. Kofoid is all over him.

Kofoid tries a slider as they return to turn one but he can’t complete the pass.

7 to go, Kaidon Brown slows with a flat right rear, caution.

Green, Larson leads Kofoid by two car lengths into turn one.

Larson moves to the bottom. Kofoid knocks the cushion. Larson is on defense!

6 to go, three cars tangle, caution.

Green, Larson leads on the bottom into turn one. Kofoid knocks the cushion and pulls even off turn two. Kofoid leads into turn three,

Larson tries the slider back into turn one. He can’t clear him.

Back into turn one, Larson drives it deep to the bottom. He barely clears him! Kofoid crosses under him to retake the lead.

Larson bobbles and falls to 3rd.

1 to go, Larson fights back to reclaim 2nd.

At the front, Buddy Kofoid wins Tuesday night at the Chili Bowl Nationals!
