Stage 1 – Report

Lap 65 (1-65 / 200)

Green flag, Briscoe and Cindric run side by side at the front. Wallace shoves Briscoe clear into turn three.

Lap 5, William Byron leads the train on the inside. He pulls even and clear of Briscoe, Byron to the lead with Ty Dillon on his bumper.

Lap 10, caution for sprinkles of rain.

After several hours, the race is set to resume. Byron leads the field to the pit lane. Logano wins the race to the pit exit.

Green flag, Logano clears Byron into turn one.

Lap 31, the field lines up three wide behind Logano. He can’t blocks them all, Byron returns to the lead.

Lap 32, Logano shoves Corey LaJoie to the lead.

Lap 36, Logano to the lead.

Lap 40, the field remains three wide. Chase Elliott takes the lead away.

Lap 42, Logano leaves the bumper of Elliott. Logano to the lead.

3 to go in stage one, The field checks up ahead of Denny Hamlin. Zane Smith tags the rear bumper of Hamlin and Hamlin is sideways on the apron! The field scatters behind him. Zane Smith spins and he collects Josh Berry. The caution is out.

Joey Logano wins stage one at Daytona International Speedway!

Stage 2 – Report

Lap 65 (66-130 / 200)

Pit Penalties: Kyle Busch and Justin Allgaier drop to the rear after the crew was over the wall too soon.

Green flag on stage two, Alex Bowman is shoved to the lead. Joey Logano has a power issue and he stacks up the field behind him. Big crash! Ross Chastain spins across the track and he collects Jimmie Johnson, Helio Castroneves, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Riley Herbst, Chase Briscoe, Martin truex Jr and others.

Alex Bowman and most of the field heads for the pit lane. Ryan Blaney is handed the lead. Logano pits for an ECU change and he’s back out, 1 lap down. However, Logano still has issues after the repair.

Green, Blaney is shoved clear into turn one. Cindric pulls back alongside. Cindric to the lead.

Lap 79, Buescher shoves Ryan Preece to the lead via the outside lane. Cindric and Gragson pull even, three wide for the lead!

Lap 83

Lap 83, caution. Austin Cindric was the leader at the time of the yellow.

Logano pits for more repairs.

Green, Cindric and Elliott run side by side at the front. Michael McDowell leads the train on the outside lane and they form three wide for the lead once again.

Lap 98, Ryan Preece is shoved to the lead.

Lap 108, Cindric and Bowman form side by side. Cindric clears him via the middle lane.

7 to go in stage two, Bowman pulls even with Cindric at the front of the field.

1 to go, Cindric leads with Blaney on his bumper. Cindric blocks the inside lane. Ryan Blaney stays on the outside and he pulls even.

Side by side to the line, Ryan Blaney wins stage two at Daytona International Speedway!

Stage 3 – Report

Lap 70 (131-200 / 200)

Green flag on stage three, Bubba Wallace shoves Blaney to the lead. Wallace pulls to the outside of Blaney, Wallace to the lead!

Lap 146, Cindric shoves Blaney back to the lead. Wallace pulls alongside as Busch leads the inside. Three wide for the lead.

39 to go, caution.

Wallace leads the field to the pit lane. Cindric wins the race to the pit exit!

Green, Cindric and Wallace run side by side into turn one. Byron shoves Wallace to the lead.

34 to go, Blaney shoves Cindric back out front.

15 to go, Stenhouse Jr throws a block on Joey Logano. Logano forces his way in there anyway and Stenhouse attempts another block. Stenhouse Jr spins, Ryan Blaney is hooked in the process and 10+ cars are collected.

Corey LaJoie was the leader at the yellow.

Green, John Hunter Nemechek shoves Corey LaJoie to the lead. LaJoie blocks a run from Cindric. Cindric works to his outside anyway.

7 to go

7 to go, Cindric leads with Hamlin on his bumper.

6 to go, Hamlin leads with Christopher Bell hanging outside.

5 to go, Christopher Bell gets turned at the front of the field off a push from Cole Custer! Ryan Preece is collected and others are collected. Preece is upside down! The caution is out.

Green, Cindric and Hamlin run side by side at the front. Custer shoves Cindric to the lead!

1 to go, Cindric blocks Hamlin into turn one. Hamlin works to his outside! Custer looks outside of him. Three wide for the lead! Multiple cars crash, no caution.

William Byron drives around the crash and wins the Daytona 500!
